Luxium Solutions is proud to be both attending and presenting at the 2024 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium held from October 26th to November 2nd in Tampa, Florida.
Luxium Solutions’ superior resolution scintillation materials and detectors with advanced photo sensor integration play a key role in a variety of markets. These include security, protection, high energy physics, safety, gauging, industrial, research, and medical. With a focus on continual innovation and development, Luxium Solutions prioritizes robust industrial-scale capabilities to ensure continued high-quality products.
Luxium Solutions is committed to providing expert research, development, and testing to continually improve our BCF-XL fiber line. We are proud to have made significant strides in this product line, with increasing attenuation lengths of greater than 4 meters and overall improvement of the quality of fibers. Beginning in 2023, the BCF-XL series of scintillating and wavelength shifting fibers have been newly manufactured, designed, and improved to be market leading attenuation lengths. This allows for optimal, reliable, and innovative applications across industries.

Luxium Solutions to showcase new & improved fiber product line this October
Luxium Solutions is proud to be both attending and presenting at the 2024 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium held from October 26th to November 2nd in Tampa, Florida.
Tyler Will is presenting at IEEE on Wednesday, October 30th at 10:38 a.m. This talk discusses our new fiber product line, BCF-XL, an overview, and future collaborations. With our series of Scintillating & Wavelength-Shifting fibers’ Light Attenuation Length > 4 meters, this is a game-changing improvement that surpasses competitors. Additionally, we offer fast decay time fibers that allow for better resolution. As a result, Luxium Solutions has obtained new business in the high energy physics space.
Tyler is a Research and Development Engineer in the New Product Development group at Luxium Solutions. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University in 2019 and returned to complete his Master of Science in 2023.
At Luxium Solutions, Tyler is focused on advancing the BCF-XL fiber line, particularly through the development of multiclad coatings to enhance light output. He also collaborates closely with customers to design custom solutions, including scintillating and wavelength-shifting fibers, to support cutting-edge detection systems.
